• Annual Fund

  The Annual Fund is the most important and largest fundraising activity at the school each year.  A high percentage of parent class participation is crucial to the success of the Annual Fund each year, ensuring an excellent educational environment for our students.  If you would like to join the Annual Fund effort for your child's class, please contact the Advancement Office.  

• Parents Association

  The Newtown Friends School Parents Association (PA) is our parent volunteer organization dedicated to cultivating community at Newtown Friends School.  It serves to encourage parents’ interest and involvement in the school and supports the school's mission in the areas of community-building within the NFS community and sponsoring several fundraising activities throughout the year.  All parents and/or guardians of students enrolled at NFS are members of the Parents Association and are encouraged to participate in PA events.

• Parent Representative to the School Committee

  There are three parent representatives who are appointed to the School Committee through the Parents Association nominating process.  They each serve one three-year term.  Parent representatives serve as a link and information resource between the School Committee and the Parents Association.
