Endowed gifts are gifts that support the long-term health of the school by providing annual income in perpetuity to support the designated use of each fund. Our endowed funds are carefully overseen by the Board’s Finance Committee and each year, 5% of a rolling three-year average of most funds is used by the School to support students, faculty and programs.
Over the years, generous individuals and groups have established endowed funds for tuition aid, professional development, faculty salaries and benefits, and other areas of need established by the donor. Through their generosity and vision, a permanent source of funds has been provided to strengthen Newtown Friends School now and for the future.
